The case relating to the death of offshore worker Pete Phillip will be heard in the Industrial Court in March next year.
According to the T&T Express, this was confirmed by Labour Minister Leroy Baptiste.
According to the report, the Occupational Safety and Health Agency initiated proceedings against Wells Services Solutions Ltd, Heritage Petroleum; Kenson Production Services Limited; and Wells Services Petroleum Company Limited.
Multiple charges have been laid against the companies under the OSH Act.
45-year-old Phillip was trapped when Rig 110 partially collapsed on December 22nd 2024.
Recovery efforts officially ended in February 2026 and his body remains entombed at sea.
