Acting Commissioner of Prisons Elvin Scanterbury is expressing concern over continued attempts to bring prohibited items into prisons.
His comments follow the interception of two packages suspected to have been thrown over the wall of the Port of Spain Prison yesterday.
Officers found cigarettes, 266 grammes of plant-like material resembling marijuana, a Samsung replacement screen and a bottle containing alcohol.
