According to the Joint Interagency Task Force South, US Customs and Border Protection was monitoring suspected trafficking activity when it detected a go-fast vessel.
A response was coordinated, with the vessel intercepted and escorted into port for further inspection.
The drugs, packaged into bricks, were found on board.
