The United States says its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is holding firm.
According to U.S. Central Command, no ships have breached the restriction since it began on Monday, with ten vessels already turned back.
The move, backed by President Donald Trump, is aimed at pressuring Iran by cutting oil exports and ending transit tolls.
Washington says only ships linked to Iran are being blocked, while others may pass.
Iran has condemned the action as piracy and warned it could retaliate by targeting shipping across key regional waterways.
