The Health Ministry is urging the public to take precautions against heat exhaustion and heat stroke as hot weather continues.
The Ministry shared warning signs of a heat stroke, which include a high body temperature, headache, dizziness, nausea, confusion, weakness and fainting.
This follows the latest forecast from the Met Service, reminding the public of a Drought Watch for Trinidad this month and a Drought Warning for Tobago in October.
Persons are being encouraged to drink lots of water, avoid strenuous activity during the midday heat and take breaks when working outdoors.
