Tomorrow, the Culture Ministry will host a welcome home event for Georgia-Lee Gill, who represented Trinidad and Tobago at the recent Miss World pageant in Vietnam.
Ms Gill made it to the Top 40 after winning her Head-to-Head Challenge and was eventually crowned Miss World Caribbean.
She is now one of six continental titleholders and will spend the next year helping the reigning Miss World spread the pageant’s “Beauty with a Purpose” mission.
According to the Ministry, the event will be held at 9pm at the Diplomatic Reception Lounge in the Piarco International Airport.
Ms Gill’s Beauty With a Purpose initiative is called The Silver Circle, which supports families caring for loved ones living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
