Public Administration Minister Dominic Smith has received the CANTO Ministerial Award for ICT Leadership and Digital Transformation 2026.
The regional award recognises leadership in ICT and digital transformation, including digital policy, governance and innovation.
The Ministry says under Minister Smith’s leadership, there has been significant emphasis on strengthening the policy and institutional framework for the responsible adoption of AI, as well as improving digital public services.
Minister Smith said the recognition reflects the work of his ministry and its partners toward building a more modern and connected public service, while contributing to the Caribbean’s digital future.
