Traffic Cone Road Work Construction

For the next week, pavement marking works will be undertaken along sections of the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, between Chaguanas and Chase Village.

In a notice, the Transport Ministry says this exercise will run from Tuesday August 4th to Wednesday August 12th, with work hours from 10:30am to 2pm daily.

During this time, temporary lane closures and lane restrictions will be implemented within the work areas.

Traffic will be maintained using the remaining available lanes, however motorists should expect temporary delays and changes in normal traffic patterns.

The Ministry says the works are intended to address pavement-marking concerns along the corridor that are affecting lane definition, traffic flow, and overall mobility on the road network.
