Over $1.5 million in cannabis found in Matelot

$1.53 million dollars worth of cannabis has been seized in Matelot.

During an Operation R.E.S.O.L.U.T.E. SHIELD exercise yesterday morning, officers searched the area around the Grande Riviere Public Cemetery.

They subsequently found 53 kilograms of cannabis, and 20 rounds of 9mm ammunition concealed in black plastic bags.
