The Financial Intelligence Unit is warning the public about fake identification cards being used to impersonate Government officials as “Financial Analyst Supervisors.”
The FIUTT says individuals are falsely claiming to represent the Unit, the Central Bank, and the Financial Investigations Branch of the Police Service.
The Unit says it does not issue such credentials, conduct business through individuals carrying them, or request payments from members of the public.
Anyone approached by persons using these cards is urged not to provide money or personal information and to report the matter immediately to the relevant authorities.
