Police are investigating reports of threats allegedly made against a police officer involved in a matter currently before the courts.
In a statement the TTPS says it is aware of a social media post in which a male voice, believed to be that of an officer, claims he received personal threats.
He also alleged that an envelope containing what appeared to be three rounds of ammunition was discovered in front of his home, addressed to him and two other officers.
The TTPS says a full investigation is underway and has pledged to protect the officer, his family, and the integrity of the judicial process.
