T&TEC is warning the public against tampering with its electrical infrastructure following a recent act of vandalism at the Fairfield Housing Development in Craignish, Princes Town.
The incident, which involved severed underground cables, temporarily disrupted service to hundreds of customers before repairs were completed.
T&TEC says interference with its equipment can result in serious injury or electrocution and is urging residents to stay away from power lines, substations and related facilities.
