The Government says it remains committed to working with regional and international partners in the search for the fishing vessel ST Vincent VII.
The boat and its crew were reported missing off the coast of French Guiana.
An intensive air and sea operation is underway, involving the T&T Coast Guard, Air Guard, and other agencies, with support from authorities in French Guiana, Suriname and Brazil.
The Agriculture Ministry says the search was launched after a video appearing to show a fire aboard the vessel on July 14th.
At the time, no distress call had been received from the vessel’s operator.
Officials say every available resource is being used to locate the vessel and bring the crew safely home.
