All six crew members aboard the fishing vessel ST Vincent VII have been found alive, almost one week after being reported missing off the coast of French Guiana.
The Ministry of Defence says the fishermen were rescued after the US-bound MV Marvel Kite spotted the vessel, approximately 349 nautical miles east of Galeota on Tuesday night.
The six men were identified as the missing crew and were reported to be in reasonably good health with no serious injuries.
The Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard has arranged to transfer the men ashore.
Four of the men are said to be T&T nationals.
