CJ visits courts

Chief Justice Ronnie Boodoosingh recently visited court facilities in east and central Trinidad, as part of ongoing efforts to assess and improve court infrastructure, services and access to justice.

He was accompanied by members of the Court Administration Team, to the courts in Sangre Grande, Arima, Tunapuna and Chaguanas.

During this time, the team met with staff and reviewed the condition, functionality and accessibility of each building.

The Judiciary says the visits build on previous assessments of court buildings in southern Trinidad, Port of Spain and Tobago.

It adds that this forms part of a continued nationwide assessment of facilities to ensure they meet the needs of court users, staff and judicial officers.
