Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro has issued a strong warning to criminals, following two police-involved shootings linked to home invasions within 24 hours.
The comments came during a police media briefing this morning.
Commissioner Allister Guevarro said that during the ongoing State of Emergency, the TTPS remains on heightened alert and will respond “swiftly, lawfully and decisively” to armed criminals targeting homes and communities.
He also called on relatives of known offenders to report illegal firearms and criminal activity before situations escalate into deadly encounters.
