“Behaviour that threatens the safety, dignity and well-being of students and staff cannot be condoned in schools, which must remain safe spaces for learning, growth, respect and personal development.”
This is the stance of the Education Ministry, as it condemned a recent physical altercation among students and the circulation of related videos on social media.
In a statement, the Ministry said it has engaged a full support framework and is working with police, school officials and other stakeholders to address the incident and support those affected.
It added that counselling and behavioural interventions will continue, and urged parents and communities to help promote respect and responsibility among students.
