Three persons are due to appear before the Siparia Magistrates’ Court, to face 19 charges, in a case involving prolonged abuse of a victim.
The charges include false imprisonment, kidnapping, inflicting grievous bodily harm and assault with a harmful substance.
Police say the offences are alleged to have occurred between June 2019 and April 2026, with the victim reportedly held against her will during this period.
The accused are scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
