Sport Minister Phillip Watts has praised a new refurbished cricket practice net at Blanchisseuse Secondary School, as an important investment in youth development.
The facility, launched with support from Angostura Holdings, is aimed at strengthening school cricket while providing students with a safer, modern training space.
Minister Watts said the initiative will help develop sporting talent while building skills and opportunities for young people.
He underscored the importance of collaborations between the Government, private sector, schools and communities in creating meaningful opportunities for young people.
