For the next 10 days, a section of the Priority Bus Route will be open to light motor vehicles at certain times.
It comes as the Ministry of Transport moves to facilitate pavement-marking work associated with the Reversible Lane System along the Eastern Main Road.
This work will be done between Mount Lambert and Curepe Junction, from June 22nd to July 1st, with work hours from 9pm to 2am.
During that time, the Ministry says the corresponding section of the PBR will be open to light motor vehicles in a bid to ease the flow of traffic.
Motorists are advised to:
• Follow all traffic signs and the instructions of traffic personnel on site.
• Expect temporary delays and use alternative routes where possible.
• Exercise caution when approaching work zones.
• Reduce speed and comply with all temporary traffic management measures.
