34 persons were held as police executed 34 warrants during Operation Steady Guard over the weekend.
According to the TTPS, there were 26 affiliation warrants, including those for a Petersfield man wanted for $26,000 in outstanding maintenance arrears, a man from Sum Sum Hill in Claxton Bay who owed $25,602 in maintenance arrears, and another Claxton Bay man who was in arrears of $21,402.
It says the total value of the maintenance arrears was more than $147,000.
Eight persons were also held on First Instance Warrants for offences such as wounding, shooting, larceny, and traffic offences.
The warrant exercise was carried out between 8am on Sunday and 12pm on Monday, throughout the Central Division.
