At least four people have been killed and dozens more injured, including children, after Russia launched a large-scale wave of drone and missile strikes across Ukraine overnight, officials said.
Three of the victims were recovered from the rubble of a partially destroyed apartment building in Kyiv, where emergency crews are continuing search-and-rescue operations following heavy strikes on the capital.
City authorities reported at least 44 people injured in Kyiv alone, among them two children. Twenty-one of the injured are being treated in hospital, including one child in critical care.
The latest attacks mark the third consecutive day of reported fatalities in Ukraine, as Russian forces intensify strikes following the end of a brief three-day ceasefire earlier in the week.
Emergency services remain deployed across multiple impacted sites.
