Trinidad and Tobago Red Force stormed into the 2026 West Indies Championship final with a 140-run win over the Barbados Pride on Wednesday.

T&T bowled out Barbados for 177 after setting the Pride 318 to win their playoff match at Coolidge.

The spinners did the bulk of the damage with left-arm spinner Khary Pierre taking 5 for 54, while off-spinner Bryan Charles had 4 for 62.

Trinidad and Tobago will play Guyana Harpy Eagles in the final, which begins on Sunday at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.

The Harpy Eagles whipped the West Indies Academy by an innings and 21 runs at the Antigua Recreation Ground.

Former Marchin Patriots all-rounder Richie Looknauth took 6 for 36 to lead Guyana to victory, with Thaddeus Lovell and Gudakesh Motie taking two wickets apiece.

Trinidad and Tobago last won the regional first-class title in 2005-2006.

Guyana, meanwhile, has won the regional title eight times in the last decade, including the last three years.
