A prison inmate has appeared in court charged with the murder of another inmate.
46-year-old Christopher Banfield was reportedly beaten and later found dead in his cell at the Maximum Security Prison on June 9th 2026.
He was in custody in connection with the murder of his elderly father.
35-year-old Rondell Collymore appeared before a Master of the High Court, charged with murder.
A Sufficiency Hearing has been set for December 18th 2026.
