Opposition Leader Pennelope Beckles-Robinson claims the country’s democracy is under threat, accusing Government officials of an abuse of power.
Speaking at a PNM meeting at Balisier House last night, she said the Government of using the State of Emergency for political victimisation.
Mrs Beckles-Robinson’s also accused the Government of using legal action to target the party, amid ongoing legal proceedings involving the PNM’s Balisier House headquarters.
She maintained that the party will not be intimidated by any of these tactics.
