A 23-year-old Princes Town man has been charged with home invasion and remanded into custody following his court appearance on Friday.
Police say the incident happened around 5 a.m. on May 30th, when a 24-year-old man awoke to find an intruder armed with a knife inside his bedroom.
A struggle followed and the victim received minor injuries before the suspect escaped through a nearby bushy area.
Officers later arrested the suspect, who was positively identified by the victim.
Bail was denied in court, with the matter adjourned to December 18th.
