Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the Muslim community of Trinidad and Tobago and around the world.
In her message, Mrs Persad-Bissessar described Eid-ul-Adha as a sacred time of prayer, sacrifice, gratitude, and renewal of faith.
She highlighted the story of Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience to Allah, as a lasting example of devotion, humility, and service to others.
The Prime Minister also praised the values of charity, compassion, and community reflected during the observance and offered prayers for local pilgrims performing Hajj in Mecca.
