WASA has confirmed claims made by the Public Utilities Minister about a water trucking racket at WASA.
In a brief statement, the Authority says a whistleblower from within the company made a formal complaint into water trucking services provided by Flexible Enterprises Limited.
The complaint related to the period 2019 to 2024 and triggered an investigation.
WASA says the investigation was not commissioned by any other means, with a final report received on January 30th 2026.
It adds “statements made by the Minister of Public Utilities during yesterday’s budget debate regarding the content of the report is factual.”
