The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service says it apprehended on Monday in San Fernando a man wanted for multiple serious offences who has been on the run for two decades.
The 44-year-old man from Siparia was held at Royal Road, San Fernando at a gas station compound.
He was held on 17 outstanding warrants in 2006, including attempted murder, possession of firearm and ammunition, and other firearm-related matters.
Officers attached to mobile patrol, PCs Samaroo, Cooper and PC Archibald acted on information received from Cpl Madhoo of the Court and Process Branch.
