Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has rejected claims that a Cabinet reshuffle is imminent.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday at the groundbreaking ceremony at South Park, the Prime Minister said there is no reshuffle on the cards at this time.
The Prime Minister, who celebrated her 74th birthday yesterday, responded to questions about her government’s performance in their first year in office.
“I think we have done a lot and there is still so much to do. We have many promises to keep, we have a lot more work to do.” she said.
“I feel that we have done a lot of work, but I know there is much more to be done, and I am not shirking from that. I am looking forward to continuing to work for the people of our country.”
