Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar says the Government’s revitalisation programme has already attracted nearly 1,000 expressions of interests.
She said this signals a shift beyond what she described as a decade of stagnation, with active efforts now underway to create conditions for large-scale investment.
The Prime Minister added that the project will only be considered historic if it is completed, operational, and delivers real benefits.
She urged all stakeholders to see it through to completion as a responsibility to the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
