Political leader of the Patriotic Front Mickela Panday is calling on the Prime Minister to “end the digital performance” and address the crime “crisis”.
In a Facebook post, Ms Panday said safety cannot be judged by social media messaging, but by whether citizens feel secure in their homes and communities.
She asked the Prime Minister to show measurable results on crime, as concerns grow over public safety in Trinidad and Tobago.
Ms Panday also questioned the extended use of State of Emergency measures, calling for stronger intelligence-led policing and improved security systems, saying the focus must shift from communication to action.
