T&T boxer Nigel Paul and former national netball captain Joelisa Cooper will lead Team T&T at today’s opening ceremony of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The T&T Commonwealth Games Association said Paul has been selected as the official Flag Bearer, while Cooper will bear the Baton
The 36-member athletic contingent for the Games will compete in athletics, boxing, cycling, gymnastics, judo, and netball.
Team TTO includes double Olympic medallist Keshorn Walcott, sprinters Leah Bertrand, Michelle-Lee Ahye, and Jereem Richards, and cyclists Njisane Phillip and Nicholas Paul.
The competition will run until August 2nd.
