Direct flights between Trinidad and Dominica will resume on October 5th with Contour Airlines.
This follows Caribbean Airlines discontinuation of its service on the route on June 1st.
In a release, the airline says it will operate twice-weekly flights using 30-seat regional jets, with service from Dominica on Mondays and Thursdays, and return flights from Trinidad on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The airline will also offer weekly one-stop connections to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.
The airline’s President, Ben Munson, says the new service aims to strengthen regional connectivity and make travel more convenient for passengers across the Eastern Caribbean.
