The Minister of Homeland Security says there will be justice for two-year-old Angelo Tobias Plaza.
According to a T&T Express report, Minister Roger Alexander says the country is mourning the toddler and assures that charges will be laid in the case.
This, as police in Tobago made a breakthrough yesterday, with one of several people detained reportedly confessing to involvement in the child’s death.
The Minister confirmed the investigation is ongoing and a file will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Police and search teams yesterday returned to the Goodwood, Tobago home of the child, but up to late yesterday, the child’s body had not been found.
Videos from the Hunters Search and Rescue Team, led by Vallance Rambharat, showed police cordoning off the area leading to the seaside home.
Up to late yesterday evening, crime scene investigators were seen processing the scene and gathering evidence.
