The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service says mixed weather conditions are expected across the country for the remainder of May.
This, as the 2026 wet season continues with at least two tropical waves forecast to affect the islands between May 16th and 31st.
Heavy rainfall days are forecast between May 21st to 23rd and again from May 26th to 29th.
Trinidad has a moderate to high chance of near-normal rainfall, while Tobago is likely to experience below-normal rainfall conditions.
Very warm to occasionally hot conditions, are expected especially between today and Wednesday, when temperatures could feel like 36 to 38 degrees Celsius in some urban areas due to humidity.
Meanwhile, gusty winds of up to 55 kilometres per hour are possible near hilltops and exposed areas.
