Police held three men, recovered a partially dismantled car and seized a quantity of marijuana during an Operation R.E.S.O.L.U.T.E Shield exercise in South Trinidad.
In the first incident, a team of officers conducted a targeted intelligence led exercise between 10am and 5pm yesterday, focusing on a silver Nissan B15 which had recently been reported stolen.
They went to a location in Gasparillo where they found a partially dismantled Nissan B15 in an open yard.
The chassis identification number appeared to have been removed while an engine and several vehicle body parts were found nearby.
A 62-year-old man was detained in connection with the find.
Later, between 7pm yesterday and 4am today, police held a 36-year-old man from Pond Street, La Romain on two outstanding warrants.
They then went to the home of a 25-year-old man in Duncan Village, San Fernando, where they found a transparent packet and a plastic bag both containing marijuana.
The man was also arrested and investigations are ongoing.
