Staff were evacuated from the control tower at the ANR Robinson International Airport today following a fire alarm.

According to reports, this was triggered after smoke was reportedly seen coming from the building.

The incident affected operations at the airport, with officials grounding a Caribbean Airlines flight on the domestic airbridge.

The air traffic control tower manages aircraft and vehicle movements on the ground and in the immediate airspace.
