A reversible lane control system is being implemented along the Eastern Main Road, between St Joseph and Mt Lambert.
The Ministry of Transport says the project is aimed at improving traffic flow and reducing congestion along the busy corridor, as part of a targeted traffic management strategy.
According to the Ministry, the project will include 10 reversible lane control sites and three variable message sign locations along the route.
Transport Minister Eli Zakour recently visited the project site, with Chief Traffic Engineer Adande Piggott and members of the Traffic Management Unit.
