Four chairs, a table and a deck of cards will set the stage the first-ever International All Fours Competition to take place in Trinidad next year.
With more than a TT$1 million cash prize up for grabs, the Carib Premier All Fours Competition is scheduled for February 12th to 14th 2027 at the Centre of Excellence.
During today’s launch at the Centre of Excellence, Trade and Tourism Minister Satyakama Maharaj noted the Ministry’s interest in this initiative.
Minister Maharaj commended Carib for taking up the role as the title sponsor of the inaugural event, which he said has generated a lot of international interest from just a few social media teasers.
Also addressing the launch was Dr Austin Jack Warner, who made a call for the card game to be introduced in schools.
Dr Warner said this competition has the ability to move the game of all fours from a “rum-shop pastime” to a game worthy of respect.
