Government is reportedly considering the addition of two daily unsubsidised flights on the domestic air-bridge.
The revelation came from Trade Minister Satyakama Maharaj, who said the purpose will be to accommodate short-notice travel.
The Trinidad Express also reported the Minister as saying that subsidised flights will continue, as there are no plans to eliminate them.
He also reportedly noted that the $400 airfare remains in place.
The consideration comes as Government looks to ease congestion on the air-bridge, with the Minister lamenting that it was recently easier for him to get a flight to Miami than Tobago.
