The Government’s digital transformation drive remains focused equipping citizens with the skills needed to participate fully in an increasingly digital society.
According to Minister of Public Administration Dominic Smith, beyond new technology and artificial intelligence, the priority is improving digital access and building the skills needed to use online public services.
His comments came during today’s Public Service Open House at NALIS.
He highlighted initiatives such as FutureReadyTT and VerifyTT, which aim to expand digital literacy and make government services more accessible.
The Minister also noted the important role of public officers in national development, adding that work continues to improve the public service.
The Open House showcased innovations from over 40 agencies as part of efforts to modernise and improve public service delivery.
