Two government ministries were forced to respond to fake notices circulating on social media.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health dismissed a fraudulent memo claiming schools would be temporarily closed because of the Hantavirus.
Later in the day, the Ministry of Civil Aviation warned the public about fake text messages containing links to pay Fixed Penalty Notices.
The Ministry stressed that the messages did not originate from any official source.
Officials urged the public to ignore the messages, avoid clicking on suspicious links, and refrain from sharing personal or financial information.
Both Ministries reminded citizens to rely only on official government communication channels for accurate and verified information.
