A Claxton Bay farmer has been crushed to death by a tractor.
The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday afternoon, as 52-year-old Vijay Harripersad was working on land close to his home in Forres Park.
Harripersad was found beneath the tractor by his son, who raised an alarm.
He was however, pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy has been ordered and investigations are continuing.
