The Children’s Authority has received another cheque to help cover its debt.
Today, a cheque for $17.88 million was handed over to help cover “audited unremitted outstanding statutory obligations”.
This brings the total received by the Authority so far to $53.9 million
According to past reports, the Authority owed millions for security services, janitorial services and works at the National Care and Empowerment Centre.
