e TecK has completed a new ownership and management arrangement for the Hilton Trinidad.
Previously, e TecK served as landlord, subletting the lands and hotel to Hilton International Trinidad Limited.
The new arrangement will replace the landlord-tenant relationship with a clearly defined owner-and-operator model.
e TecK says it has acquired all the issued and outstanding shares of Hilton International Trinidad Ltd.
Moving forward, while Hilton will continue to manage and operate the Hilton Trinidad, e TecK will own the hotel through its subsidiary, HotelTT Asset Management Company Ltd.
The announcement of this arrangement comes just two weeks before the existing lease was due to expire on September 18th.
