Ebola death

The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has now killed more than 2,300 people.

AP News reported that Government data has recorded this as the country’s deadliest outbreak of the disease on record, noting nearly 4,945 cases and 2,325 deaths.

The outbreak has spread across six provinces.

While more than 1,000 people have recovered, about 730 remain in hospitals or isolation.

The World Health Organization says the outbreak could become deadlier than the 2014–2016 Ebola outbreak in West Africa, which killed more than 11,000 people.
