Disaster Relief and Minor Home Repair Grants have been distributed to 59 households from central Trinidad.
These were presented yesterday and, according to the Ministry of the People, will benefit 163 persons.
The grants amounted to just over $462,000.
57 of the households received Disaster Relief Grants totalling around $418,900.
Additionally, two households received Home Repair Grants valued at around $43,100.
Minister of the People, Vandana Mohit, said the distribution was not about announcements, but to assure citizens that they are not alone.
