The Ministry of the People has distributed more than $265,000 in disaster relief and home repair grants to 30 households in the Penal/Debe and Siparia regions.
This includes 26 Disaster Relief General Assistance Grants, benefiting 89 people at a value of $210,437.80, and four Home Repair Grants, supporting 12 beneficiaries with a total of $54,751.
Minister Vandana Mohit says the Ministry remains committed to ensuring families affected by disasters receive timely assistance and support to rebuild with dignity.
