A member of the Defence Force is among five people arrested in connection with two home invasions in Mendez Village, Siparia.
Police say the incidents happened on Saturday, with masked suspects stealing cash, jewellery and electronic devices from two homes.
CCTV footage helped investigators identify vehicles linked to the incidents.
This led to a Toyota Aqua, driven by a 23-year-old Defence Force member, being intercepted near the Gasparillo Overpass.
A search led to the recovery of cellular phones and jewellery believed to belong to the victims.
The other suspects are between 18 and 38 years old.
